Kingdom Maker is a 4x mobile strategy game that lets players build, conquer, and rule their own kingdom. To amplify player engagement and drive online website sales, the game's site received a complete overhaul, bringing a fresh, dynamic experience to its fans and new players.

STRATEGY

Transforming a Kingdom: from Concept to Creation

A key challenge was keeping the live mobile game and the new website aligned, as both were undergoing UI and branding overhauls at different paces. To streamline the workflow, I integrated Figma, set up clear handoff processes, created wireframes and systematic design, leading the website redesign to ensure visual and functional consistency across platforms and teams.

Redefining a Realm with a Narrative-Forward, Player-Driven Design

The homepage needed to immediately capture the atmosphere of Kingdom Maker. The original layout felt more like a blog, so I reimagined it with a bold, cinematic hero to draw users in and encourage them to explore. I used key art and interactive call-to-action to drive downloads and engagement.


To keep things balanced, I optimized visual assets and built scalable components in Figma that worked seamlessly across all breakpoints. BLOG & NEWS

From the Kingdom: Stories, Updates, and More

Gaming blogs provide a storytelling hub for updates, patch notes, and dev spotlights. I designed modular layouts, a rich typographic system, and smart tagging to boost readability and discoverability. Handled on a custom, flexible CMS, which helped empower teams to publish quickly while staying on-brand.

WEBSTORE

Forging a Store That Fuels the Player's Adventure.

The store page was redesigned to reflect both the premium nature of in-game purchases and the playful spirit of Kingdom Maker. The new design increased clarity around item tiers, bundles, and in-game benefits exclusive to purchasing and visiting the webstore, improving the conversion path and kept consistency with in-game store items.

I established a cohesive design system to align the site with the Kingdom Maker brand and streamline implementation. Through close collaboration with project managers and developers, we built a modern, intuitive experience that ensured consistency across every touchpoint.
